Network Engineer - LAN, WAN, MPLS, CCNP, CCNA
My global telecoms client requires a strong Network Engineer to work onsite at the customer location in Dun Laghaire.
Skills/Experience
You will have advanced technical knowledge (network, equipment, protocols, topologies) and be capable of developing total technical network solutions. Strong client interfacing skills is a must and have demonstrated layer 2 and 3 competencies. Industry recognised certification (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE).
Responsibilities
Interfaces with client, implementation and account team members to gather requirements as new projects are introduced and serves as the primary engineering contact for client engagements. Prioritizes competing requests for technical assistance and determines project priorities, criticality and viability depending on multiple factors. You will be responsible for decisions impacting my clients internal organisations and the availability, reliability and resiliency of client networks. Advanced technical knowledge is a must and you should be capable of developing total technical network solutions. Demand for scheduled evening and weekend work and travel to various client locations across the EMEA region possible. You will be based onsite at the customer location in Dun Loaghaire, Ireland - working from home is not an option.
