Network Engineer Job

NETWORK ENGINEER needed for a Contract job opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Jose, CA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- OSI Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching/routing
- Cisco Core platforms CRS, ASR, Catalyst Products
- Cisco Data Center Product Line Nexus Products

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Integrate, Validate, Test and Deploy full scale client networks
- Lead and be part of a small team to design, execute and present results to the customer.
- Consulting with customer contacts directly for large enterprise solutions

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- OSI Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching/routing
- Network Protocols experience OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS, BGP, MPLS
- Experience with any of the Cisco Networking Software: IOS, XE, XR or NX-OS
- Cisco Core platforms experience in any of the following: CRS, ASR 9k, ASR 1k, Catalyst Products
- Experience with any of the Cisco Data Center Products: Nexus Products N7K, N5k, N2k, N1kV, Catalyst products, MDS and UCS
- Content Switching for OSI Layer 4-7 Switching and Load balancers
- Security and Firewall experience
- Great interpersonal communication skills
- CCIE minimum-written
- Bachelors Degree and three to five (3 - 5) years related experience or MS with three to four (3 - 4) years related experience.

BONUS POINTS!

- Ixia or Spirent tools is a plus
- Knowledge and experience on holistic data center virtualization is a plus
