Network Engineer II Job

NETWORK ENGINEER II needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Overland Park, KS.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Telecom background
- RF knowledge

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide technical support in the acceptance of wireless CDMA and LTE equipment into the network.
- Ensures quality of equipment and services prior to customer traffic being placed on the equipment.
- Checks hardware and software versions are correct.
- Ensures remote connectivity and alarm reporting.
- Troubleshoots equipment that is noncompliant and interfaces with equipment vendors and 3rd party suppliers to Remedy issues that don't meet acceptance criteria.
- Update databases with dates and other relevant information to track the status of sites being worked.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Knowledge of wireless equipment (Samsung, Alcatel Lucent, Ericsson, Nokia Systems) is preferred.
- System knowledge of Siterra and NRM a plus.
- Previous telecom and RF background required
