Network Engineer/Freelance/CCNP/Bruges

Twenty 4 Seven Solutions are proud to be working with one of the blue chip companies in Belgium who are currently looking for a Network Engineer to support LAN/WAN operations on site in Bruges on a 12 month mission.

some of the basic roles and needs for candidates to have to meet our clients expectations are as followed...

- Operations and standard changes for:
- LAN Operations
- WLAN Operations
- Central Services Network
- Server Room, MES and Lab Networks
- Evaluation of required WAN connectivity and availability.
- These include:
- Designing options to meet customer requirements, eg in case of missing bandwidth or required exchange of HW. The result will be a network implementation/design plan.
- Provision and preparation of vendor quotes (eg for local HW purchases) for preparation of budgeting and/or ordering by the legal entities in each country.
- Setting up the components according to Covestro network standards and agreed design plan.
- Autonomous Documentation in and updating of the monitoring tools for the active network components.
- Contacting the local and global stakeholders in case of addtitional required information and/or needed agreements for the planning, design and incident solution.
- Autonomous Monitoring and Maintaning the components.
- Use of clients standard tools such as described above.
- These do not include:
- Required site infrastructure (cabling, cabinets, powering, etc.).
- On site installation of hardware.
- Operations of the WAN.
- Operations of Video.
- Operation & Support of Classical telephony.
