NETWORK ENGINEER - CISCO - CHECKPOINT - FIREWALL - IP - F5
RIZE are looking for an experienced network consultant on contract basis to work on our customers network in Belgium. Our customer are currently using Cisco Switches series 2900, 3700, 4000 and 6500; an in-depth knowledge of these Switches is needed.
Tasks:
- Manage networking environment: design system configuration; participate to network installation; define, document and enforce system standards
- Maximize network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshoot network problems and outages; schedule upgrades; optimize network
- Secures network: establish and enforce policies; define and monitor access
- Report on network operational status
- Manage Switches/Routers/Firewalls
- Document (and maintain documentation of) network topology and policies/rules.
Requirements:
- The Firewalls used are CheckPoint Firewall 1, and F5 web application Firewall (Big IP). Knowledge of these or similar Firewalls is also necessary.
- Knowledge of brocade fibre channel Switches, and securing fibre channel Switches would be an asset.
- Working language is English and therefore a good level of English is mandatory
