Network Engineer - Belgium

Languages: FRENCH with DUTCH and ENGLISH

Skills and experience:

- TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, BGP and all other protocols
- Firewalls (Checkpoint/Stonesoft)
- IPS (Stonesoft)
- VPN (Juniper)
- Cisco and Nortel switching (Lan/WAN)
- Load Balancing (Cisco ACE and F5)
- BlueCoat Proxies
- Wifi technologies
- At least 5 year experience in complex networking environments
- Bachelor/Master in IT
- Strong knowledge in Checkpoint, Juniper and Cisco technologies
- Client oriented
- Dynamic and able to work under pressure with shifting priorities
- Willing to work in 24*7standby regime
- Certifications as CCNA or CCNP is an asset
- Experience on Cisco Nexus is a plus
- ITIL Foundation certification
- Onsite work location with very limited options for home working
- Have security clearance
- Ability to create technical documents that can be clearly understood by readers by presenting useful information that is clear and easy to understand for the intended audience
- Has a good understanding of basic cryptographic concepts

Description of work:

-Be in charge of the daily network administration
- Be in charge of implementation of complex projects, migrations and changes on network level
- Perform root cause analysis of complex problems on network level
- Create detailed network designs
