NETWORK ENGINEER BAU

IMMEDIATE START CONTRACT - 3 TO 6 MONTHS INITIALLY

NORTH SYDNEY LOCATION - INTERVIEWS TO START NEXT WEEK

Our client is one of Australia's growing ICT services and solutions providers, spanning infrastructure services, managed services and information management.

The purpose of this role is to ensure our client receives expert technical delivery to upgrade and maintain all aspects of their internal network and external client networks during change and implementation.

Due to the nature of this project this is a very hands on role requiring an experienced, technically astute engineer at the mid level with extensive BAU experience. The client infrastructure is predominately Cisco R&Sw, Wireless, ASA and Riverbed. You will need to clearly portray ALL of those skills on your Resume

Therefore we require a skilled Certified Cisco Network Engineer with skills covering LANS/WANS, Network Security/Firewalls, Routing protocols, QoS, Load Balancing and ACL's. 

Specific skills:

Cisco ASA experience

Riverbed experience

Cisco wireless experience

Experience with TMG desirable but not essential

The ideal candidate will have:

Advanced Cisco certification (CCNP/CCDP at a minimum)

5 years Network Engineer experience preferably

Excellent troubleshooting experience and break/fix ability within BAU

Excellent written and verbal skills are mandatory

Systems Integrator/Managed Services type background highly regarded.

Please note this is a BAU position with very little project involvement.
