Network Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assists in the development and maintenance of telephony/network communications.
- Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN and telephony systems to help design and install internal and external telephony networks.
- Tests and evaluates telephony network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
- Works under immediate supervision - typically reports to a supervisor.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Some after hours and weekend work as needed.

SKILLS

REQUIREMENTS

- Requires a Bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Call Center Support experience a plus.
- Knowledge of MS Server Applications, Agent Monitoring application.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
