Network Engineer

Our client in the downtown Cleveland area is looking for a Network Engineer.  

This is a 3 month contract to hire position. 

PRIMARY SKILLS:
- In- depth knowledge of LAN/WAN communications, network Routers, Switches, gateways and Firewalls.
- In- depth knowledge of routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP, GRE
- Strong understanding and practical experience with technologies like MPLS, VPN, QoS, Traffic Engineering
- Duties involve among others, management of LAN and WAN, projects, installation of new devices, system and on- going maintenance of infrastructure
- Team player, good communication skills, self- starter & professional

SECONDARY SKILLS:
- Cisco UCS
- Cisco telephony products including Call Manager, IPPC and/or Unity lines
- Server Virtualization (VMware, Hyper- V) 

This is a hands on position.  This person needs to be strong in security (understand security, Firewall functionality, risk assessment).  So, this is going to be a network and security position.
