Network Engineer

THE CLIENT:

Our client in Adelaide CBD is looking for an experienced Network Engineer on a 6 months contract role with possible extension.

As an experienced professional you are required to perform maintenance as required and resolve complex problems, ranging from installation of new systems to diagnose a wide range of customer problems, both software and hardware.

MORE SPECIFICALLY BUT NOT LIMITED TO

- Design, configure and deploy network Cisco switching, routing and Firewall infrastructure.
- Configuration of Cisco ASA Firewall devices including access lists, NAT, site-to-site IPsec VPN, routing.
- Configuration of Routers/Switches for remote sites, including VPN connectivity.
- Configuration of wireless solutions including wireless controller/autonomous access point and wireless bridges.
- Install and test Operation Systems software, and network operating systems
- Perform within a team in a Managed Services support role.
- Maintain and troubleshoot backup and restore issues on Servers/network systems

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Administering Windows Server, Active Directory and Exchange Server.
- Administering Cisco switching, routing and Firewall infrastructure.
- Computer Hardware Installation and configuration experience
- CISCO related activities
- MCSE and ITC related activities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sound negotiation and influencing skills

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

- Certifications around windows server, exchange, Cisco or VMware.
