NETWORK AND DATA SECURITY CONSULTANT

NETWORK AND DATA SECURITY: One of our market leading clients is urgently seeking a Network and Data Security Consultant to join their multinational team in a dynamic environment, using cutting-edge technologies for an exciting, well-paying and stable contract in Basel, Switzerland.

THE IDEAL NETWORK AND DATA SECURITY CONSULTANT WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE:

- Five+ years experience with network and routing protocols, TCP/IP, VLANs, ACL's, QoS, MPLS, EIGRP, BGP
- Network/Security Certified (CISSP, CCNA - CCIE) a plus.
- Applied understanding of highly available core network infrastructures and disaster recovery principles
- Experience configuring, installing, and troubleshooting centralized network infrastructure such as Routers, Switches, etc.
- Experience with network monitoring tools.
- Experience with Cisco 6500 and Nexus Switches as well as knowledge of load balancers, Linux, Microsoft technologies, Shell Scripting, Cisco Layer 2/3, and DNS a plus
- Experience with Checkpoint Firewall and Bluecoat Proxy platforms
- Experience with VoIP systems/phones, and unified communications
- Experience with wireless protocols, site surveys, access points, controllers
- Proven customer service and problem solving skills working with customers
- Ability to work independently, as a member of a team.
- Ability to operate and manage within a change control system
