POSITION: TECHNICAL ARCHITECT-NETWORKING
LOCATION: ZAVENTEM, BELGIUM
DURATION: 6 MONTHS
THE RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
To conceptualize| design and deliver product/sustenance delivery through the team as per defined scope and standards in a particular technology
To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements.
To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology.
To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and delivery risks are mitigated.
To architect| design and develop [through team] solution for product/sustenance delivery.
THE REQUIRED SKILLS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Design, deploy, implement SDN/NFV/Cloud based Solutions, and also include security and risk considerations in deploying Cloud Architectures and Services (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS) for Data Center, Enterprise and/or Mobility Edge Packet Core network.
Identify and gather requirements to assess, plan and define a solution to be build using SDN/NFV/Cloud Architecture best practices.
Masters or equivalent experience in Computer Science, EE, data networking architectures, or closely related field. (MSCS, MSEE, MSCE).
Expert level experience with carrier class Routers, Switches and platforms from various vendors, Expert knowledge of Metro Ethernet and IP communications (IPv4, IPv6, routing protocols).
Expert level experience with designing with and managing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, ISIS, RIP, MPLS, LDP, etc.
Expert knowledge of Network Functions Virtualization (NfV) architectures
Expertise in one or more access technologies such as 3G/4G, xDSL, xPON is s plus.
Experience architecting networks based on SDN/NFV or Experience with SDN, NFV, EMS/NMS/OSS and orchestration solutions.
Engineering Experience with EMS, Telco IT Apps-OSS, Network Monitoring/Management systems, Cloud Computing Platforms required.
years' experience in engineering data center and IP backbone networks in a multi-vendor multi-protocol environment.
Leadership, knowledge and participation around next-generation network standard and specification efforts (ETSI, Broadband Forum, MEF, IETF).
Good knowledge of virtualization solutions (libvirt, KVM, Xen, VMWare)
