Description of Mission/Main Activities Present in the Production environment, the Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the technical assistance of Engineering Networks and security teams.

As such, it:
- Analysis and solves network problems and security
- Participates in the creation of models test before the start of production
- Implements solutions to improve performance, reliability and network security
- A consulting assignments in-house or at the Customer
- Participates in the training of Administrators and Network Engineers team

It aims to:
- Realize, reliability and optimize the operational monitoring of accounts for which it is responsible
- Specify, implement and ensure documentation standards, integration and quality
- Proposing workarounds when incident to ensure optimum continuity of service.
- Conduct audits of flow, performance and architecture in terms of specifications.
- Specify, implement and enforce administrative procedures
- Define and design configurations relief, methods and means of Switches
- Coordinate with local stakeholders or subcontractors to perform the physical configurations and remote equipment installations
- Make the recipe during the transition from one project to the RUN
- Update administration tools and supervision

- Cisco CCNP level
- F5 BIG IP good knowledge
- Bluecoat good knowledge
- Fortinet good knowledge

System software:
- Unix (AIX) concepts

- IOS good knowledge Application software:
- Network tools: Cacti, packet capture (Ethereal, wireshark) good knowledge
- HPOV (Network Node Manager) concepts
- CA Spectrum concepts
- Development: Perl, Shell script concepts Other

Knowledge Network:
- Ethernet IP Control
- Cutting into subnets (VLSM) control
- Static routing, dynamic (OSPF and RIP) control
- Spanning tree, cdp, vtp control
- Natting control
- WAN (LL, ISDN, ATM, XDSL) good knowledge
- SNMP, Syslog: good knowledge
- Security (SSH Access list) good knowledge architecture:
- Data Centre LAN Architecture: good knowledge infrastructure
- Architecture Wan: appreciated

Functional skills

- Rigorous configuration items and associated document management.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment

Qualifications/Training/Experience
- 3 years minimum experience in Cisco networks - CCNA required.
- The ITIL Foundations certification is a plus.
