Network Analyst

YOUR ROLE:

Our client is a leading IT solutions provider specializing in the energy and utilities sectors. This is an initial 6 month contract position with potential opportunity for permanency. You will be working in a team to provide technical support and maintenance to various voice and data communications networks.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Provide technical support for faults, projects and design
- Perform documentation of all activities including enhancements and capacity plans and requirements
- Provide technical support, maintenance and enhancement for various voice and data communications networks
- Liaising with other groups and vendors
- Perform technical systems design within the agreed architecture

TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

ESSENTIAL:

- Extensive experience in supporting LAN/WAN
- Experience with Firewall and maintaining a distributed IP Network
- Proven experience in a similar role
- IT Tertiary qualification
- Experience in providing service delivery to internal and external clients
- Strong communication and time management skills

DESIRABLE:

- Cisco certifications CCDP, CCIE Voice, Datacentre
- Experience in BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, VSS, VRF, UCS and ASA
- Knowledge of Fortinet, Bluecoat and Riverbed
