Network Administrator Job

NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Ft. Meade, MD.

POSSESSION OF A DOD TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Experienced with Tier III Help Desk for large production systems
- Experience with operation and maintenance of the lab, which is a mirror of the production environment.
- Strong Networking understanding

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Tier III Help Desk for large production systems
- This position will be responsible for operation and maintenance of the lab, which is a mirror of the production environment.
- This position will also be responsible for assisting in the design, planning, implementation and maintenance of the customer's network infrastructure and architecture.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in IT or related field (preferred, not required)
- Security+ Required
- DoD Top Secret Required
- Two to five (2-5) years of directly related experience in network analysis and design.
- Five (5) years of experience in a computer-related field
- At least three (3) years of experience in an operation environment
- Must have experience with network analysis/management tools and techniques
- Experience with T1/T3, Point-to-Point, Ethernet, GRE, IP Routing, BGP, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Network security concepts, JunOS, Cisco IOS, Network protocols and subnetting
- Strong understanding of troubleshooting methodology

- Ability to create and work with a collaborative, result oriented team environment
- Solid understanding of the Information Technology industry, especially Networking and System administration
- Ability to prioritize, plan and schedule multiple workflows for self and others
- Ability to take guidance within a fast paced matrixes environment
- Software development life cycle a plus
