ACTIVE DIRECTORY EXPERT/NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR ORLANDO, FL CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

RIGHT NOW WE HAVE AN IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR AN EXPERT ACTIVE DIRECTORY/NETWORK ADMIN TO ASSIST OUR CLIENTS TEAM WITH A CENTRALIZED, SINGLE-FOREST/SINGLE-DOMAIN MIGRATION PROJECT. CANDIDATES MUST HAVE SUPPORT EXPERIENCE WITH LARGE ENTERPRISE CLASS APPLICATIONS OR SERVICES.

MUST BE ABLE TO:

- Set up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks
- Develop and maintain systems, applications, security, and network configurations
- Troubleshoot network performance issues
- Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment
- Assist in the development and maintenance of network communications
- Work Remotely

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

- Strong knowledge of Active Directory experience (MANDATORY) Windows side
- Understanding of Active Directory operations, administration, and design, in a multiple forest/multiple domain environment
- Experience with Microsoft domain migrations; ADMT
- Experience with Quest Migration Manager (strong preference) and Change Manager for AD Queries
- Microsoft Windows Operating System environment knowledge (desktop and server)
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Project for documentation and communication
- Experience in Windows Server 2012/2008
- Experience mining Windows Server event logs
- General understanding of IT infrastructure components and services (DNS, DHCP, WINS, DFS)
- PowerShell Scripting for infrastructure maintenance activities, (including AD cmdlets)
- Excellent detail-oriented, systematic problem solving skills
- Understanding of ITIL principles, practices and processes
- Strong communication skills, including verbal, face-to-face, written and presentation
- Strong understanding of customer service methods and theory
- Ability to quickly assess situations, troubleshoot complex problems and keep calm under tight time constraints and high pressure
- Self-starter with ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts, principles and solutions with little supervision
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- 3-5 years of related work experience minimum
- Certifications preferred: CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Server+ 2
