Network Administrator

This is a break/fix type position in an Enterprise Operations Center with data centers and locations in multiple states.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks.
- Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations.
- Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan.
- Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.
- Provides technical support and guidance to users.

SKILLS:

May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

- Enterprise level Cisco Router and switch experience.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus 7k, 5k, 2k and Catalyst 6500 series Switches preferred.
- Experience with Cisco ACE load balancing, Cisco ASA's preferred.
- Checkpoint Firewall experience extremely helpful.
- Ability to work with carriers on MPLS and T1/T3 circuits required.
- HP Openview NNMi, Ciscoworks and other Network Managment systems such as HP Network automation helpful.
