Network Administrator

THIS IS A NIGHT POSITION WORKING 7PM TO 7AM WITH ROTATING SCHEDULE. DAYS WORKED WILL VARY SO APPLICANT MUST BE FLEXIBLE AND AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS.

- Monitors and supports internal and/or external networks.
- Maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations.
- Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan.
- Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications.
- Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
- Provides technical support and guidance to users.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

- 1-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- 1+ years of networking experience
- CCNA, CompTIA A+ and/or CompTIA Network + preferred
- Knowledge of commonly-used networking concepts, practices, and procedures
- Availability for nonstandard work hours and weekends
- May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty
