On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for a .NET DEVELOPER. For this contract position based in Zürich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English and German speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible.

The person is responsible for development of existing dot Net based applications for Advisory and Suitability Tools with following deliverables:
- Analysis of Requirements and creation of Solution Design
- Development of new features
- Bugfixing
- Definition and writing of Unit/Integration testcases
- Tracking and documentation of the changes using standard Bank tools (eg JIRA, Sharepoint )
- If required, 3rd level support for production issues caused by the new deliveries
- Proactive planning and measures definition to improve the existing applications
- Ensure the high quality of delivered solution
The person is involved in projects deliveries and must ensure the new solutions do match the production quality standards and are in line with Team, application and Bank strategy.
The skills and experience needed for this position are:
Excellent Knowledge and experience in design and development of high performant web Front End applications with ASP.NET MVC 4 using following technologies:
- Microsoft .NET 4.0/4.5
- ASP.NET & ASP.NET MVC 4
- HTML 5/CSS 3
- JavaScript/jQuery/AJAX/amCharts
- MS SQL 2008 R2/MS SQL 2012
- OpenXML SDK
- Visual Studio 2012/2013
- ReSharper/StyleCop/FxCop
- IIS 7
- Excellent understanding of MS SQL
- Understanding of software development/customization processes
- Capability to analyze complex and poorly defined problems related to the application and to provide solutions with minimal guidance from the superiors
- Knowledge in financial industry
