NET Technical Manager

.NET Technical Manager, 6 Months+ contract, based in London, NEG, to start ASAP!

The successful candidate will be required to participate in generating innovative solutions to our clients problems and assist in scoping and defining projects. They will also be expected to have a genuine passion for technology and a drive to keep ahead of the curve by utilising new technologies and methodologies. The role will be a combination of ideas generation, solutions architecture, software development and delivery management on specific projects.

We're looking for an exceptional individual to join our team to help us bring global brands to a variety of technology platforms. The position requires an experienced Senior Developer with a broad range of front-end and back-end technical skills and background of working at a Digital Media Agency.

Requirements and qualifications:

- B.Sc. or equivalent in an engineering or technical discipline.
- 5+ years experience in technical design and development, of which 1+ years managing or leading a team.
- Experience of the design and architecture of technical solutions.
- Familiar with a range of development methodologies e.g. RAD, Agile
- Familiar with range of Project Methodologies e.g. Waterfall, Iterative Development
- Experience supporting the creation of wire frames, templates, navigation functionality
- Experience supporting user interface design and interaction design
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience building web solutions using Microsoft .Net, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.Experience with the following would be an advantage Server side programming languages such as PHP, Python and Django.
- Working knowledge of Social apps and all associated SDKs and APIs.
- Experience of developing on mobile platforms (Android/IOS/Windows Phone 7)
- An understanding of responsive web design.
- Cloud based hosting and associated APIs.
- Experience of supplier management.
- Understanding of penetration testing and how solutions can be secured.

Responsibilities:

- Requirements gathering and scoping.
- Technical project estimation and resource profiling.
- Managing technical risk.
- Overseeing technical delivery of key projects across full project lifecycle.
- Client facing technical lead on key projects.
- Leading teams of skilled internal and outsource developers.
- Support project managers and delivery teams across: estimation of timing and effort, client communication, defining scope of work.
- R & D and pro-active development of ideas and technologies.
- Ensuring proper documenting of all code and that coding standards are applied.
