DESCRIPTION:
Seeking a .NET SQL Developer with strong Business Systems Analysis BSA to support the delivery of IT solutions on behalf of the telecom business. Designing, developing and managing the interfaces and evolution of systems and interfaces. The successful candidate will work with the business and project teams and will partner with other IT teams as well as external solution providers. We require motivated individuals, who thrive in a constantly changing and exciting environment, to apply creativity and innovation in the development of solutions essential to support the company's current and future success.
- Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains custom telecom applications/interfaces
- Backup Level 2 Support of custom application
- The candidate is also involved in reviewing key development and design deliverables, including interface specifications, integration requirements, data schemas and design documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
- University degree in the field of computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field and/or 3+ years equivalent work experience
- Strong understanding of SQL database structures, theories, principles, and practices
- Excellent understanding of, and experience with, server-client computing and relational database environments
- Experience with SQL database level programming
- Workforce management systems experience - an asset
- Good knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices, Crystal Reports
- SQL Server 2008 - 2012
- SFTP/FTP Knowledge
- SSIS/SSRS
- NET 3.5 and above
- VB.NET/(C# good to have)
- MVC/XML Nice to have
- Web Development (ASP.NET, IIS 7 and better, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Crystal Report 11 and above
- TSQL
- Networking Knowledge/Active Directory - nice to have (Support)
- TFS
- Mobile device testing/application deployment
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Ability to conduct research into database issues, standards, and products
- Ability to present ideas/solutions in a user-friendly language
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong customer service orientation
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
