.NET PLATFORM MANAGER

We are looking for a contractor/consultant with strong exposure to the banking and/or financial services industry having worked in a similar position

The ideal candidate possesses expert knowledge of the .NET framework and is an experienced Application Manager.

Tasks

Deployment and operation of the .NET Enterprise Application Platform

-QA management at the interface between the development and operation of the .NET enterprise applications, in co-operation with the.NET Platform Configuration Manager

Support architecture- and engineering- tasks of the .NET Enterprise Application Platform

Support the development teams in regards to .NET development and delivery processes

Deployment and operation of infrastructure for the development of .NET Enterprise Applications (technology used: Visual Studio, TFS)

Act as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the .NET Application Platform

Requirements

Several years of experience in running .NET Enterprise Application Platforms (Web and Application Server)

Broad and deep knowledge of the .NET Framework and the following technology standards: IIS, Windows Server, Visual Studio, TFS

Very good knowledge of deployment, delivery and operational processes

Practical experience in IT operations in the banking and financial services sector

Very good understanding of ITIL

.NET- Engineering background will be beneficial

Team player with very good communication skills

Fluent in German & English (written & spoken)
