NET Developers

A prestigious government department in Canberra requires Experienced .NET developers (Web Applications and Windows Forms) with SQL Server Relational Database experience. Successful candidates will work as part of a team and be responsible for delivering a full range of design, development and implementation of Services applications using Microsoft Platform.

Candidates will be expected to:

- Work within a team of Developers, Business Analysts and Testers and will encompass the full software development life cycle from requirements gathering to implementation
- Possess strong UI analysis skills and strong understanding of SDLC
- Demonstrate experience using C#, SQL Server, .NET framework 3.0/3.5/4.0, WCF & XML based Web Services, Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Server, XML, XSLT, UML using Enterprise Architect
- Demonstrate experience in Web Applications design and programming (MVC, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, Javascript) and Winforms development, and
- Demonstrate experience in SQL.
- Selection Criteria
- Describe your industry based knowledge and experience in the delivery of systems in an enterprise Client Server environment using the Microsoft .NET Framework.

Experience as a programmer in support of a large application environment.

Knowledge and demonstrated experience with:

a) Object Orientated Design and UML using Enterprise Architect or Similar Tools, and

b) Microsoft Office.

DESIRABLE

- Experience with unit testing tools and Resharper
- Experience with development of frameworks
- Experience with implementing SOA solutions
- MS IIS, and
- Mobile Applications design and programming (Xamarin or native programming).
