NET Developer (VB/SQL) - Peterborough - Contract

.NET Developer (VB/SQL) urgently required by a top Financial Services organisation for a contract role in Peterborough.

Working on a Greenfield project, this person will be join a small team of developers and analysts who are responsible for developing and supporting front and Back Office solutions.

Fully involved in all aspects of the SDLC, this person will be work on building innovative software solutions of exceptional quality.

This person will be expected to interact with users on a daily basis and must possess excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have strong Systems Analysis experience as well as the following technical background:

VB/COM
.NET
SQL (Oracle)
Messaging methodologies
UAT

A background in Financial Services is essential, with a background of working in UK Pensions being highly desirable.
