Net Developer (Q3)

A 12 month contract opportunity exists for multiple .NET Developer (Midrange Level) to join a well known Australian Government Organisation based in Brisbane.

THE .NET DEVELOPERS WILL BE WORKING ON MAJOR APPLICATIONS MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORKS AND WILL BE REQUIRED TO UNDERTAKE THE FOLLOWING KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Review Functional Design documentation and escalate potential issues or gaps
- Complete required software build changes as per Functional Design and in accordance with the Build/Test processes and build checklists.
- Complete peer reviews of software build work
- Create or update existing technical documentation
- Assist with investigation and analysis of software development issues
- Work as an effective team member; share knowledge and information with the team and help others meet team priorities
- Apply internal policies and practices, including employment equity and diversity, occupational health and safety, workplace relations and access and equity and the ability to encourage and develop appropriate behaviours
- Possess Midrange development skills with Java and/or .Net

TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO HOLD THE FOLLOWING KEY SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS;

- Web Applications Development: using a variety of languages and tools including; ASP .Net, VB.NET, Visual Studio, C#, SQL Server, XML/XSL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, VBScript, TFS and IIS
- Integration Applications Development: using a variety of languages and tools including; SQL Server, C#, VB.NET, Visual Studio, WCF, XML/XSL, TFS, HTML, SOAP, Enterprise Library and Messaging/MQ Series.
- Knowledge in the support and management of tools and products used in the Systems
- Development Life Cycle including experience in developing; Patterns and templates, and IT Guidelines and Standards.
- MUST BE AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN and hold relevant security clearances.
