Tasks (.NET Frontend Developer) - Brussels
Create a web portal for the Access Points. These Access Points exchange messages amongst Member States in a secure and reliable way, using the AS4 messaging protocol (web services). Key features of the web portal are: monitoring the status of the exchanged messages, finding messages back via advanced search criteria and configure the Access Point in case correct way.
Identify and propose technical solutions for the design and development of the Access Point web portal.
Work and collaborate within an agile development team of .NET experts.
Document the solution in a clear and well structured format.
Develop with a continuous integration mind-set: work test driven, automate unit and integration tests, automate builds and deployment.
Provide 3rd line support in a challenging and heterogeneous IT environment.
The candidate will report to the Access Point team lead
Technical skills
Excellent knowledge and experience in .NET development, with a focus on web development.
The ability to create independently a professional web portal from scratch.
Excellent knowledge and experience in Microsoft SQL Server and how to programmatically access its data in a high performing way via Entity Framework.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Team Foundation Server and how to setup automatic testing, build and deployment.
Good understanding of interoperability standards and protocols: SOAP and WS-Security
Excellent knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture concepts.
Excellent knowledge of XML and related technologies.
Experience in one of the following is a plus: Nuget, Automapper, BouncyCastle (dependency injection), ETW, XUnit, Redis Service, PowerShell.
