DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (EXAMPLE OF):

- In the Contracting Authority a key role for .NET Developers is the development of Stage 2 and beyond systems as well as the maintenance of the existing eleven major live systems
- Liaise with business owners and Project Managers and analysts to Develop and maintain Business Systems Applications using VB.NET, Dev Express, Oracle and Visual Studio
- Carry out full unit and system testing
- Liaise with UAT team in development of Test Plans and Test Cases
- Document all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Analyze and resolve 2nd Level SRs assigned by Helpdesk
- Analyze data issues and create data fix scripts where required
- Maintain all source code using Visual SourceSafe.
