.NET Developers with good experience in .NET technologies, required for our client in Barcelona, for a long term assignment (4 years duration in total). English-language environment. Junior and Senior roles available. Intial contract 6 months.

Juniors min 3 years IT experience with 2 years .NET; Seniors min 6 years IT experience with 4 years .NET.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Min 3 - 6 years IT; 2 years to 4 years experience in:

MANDATORY SKILLS REQUIRED:

- ASP.NET and C# or VB.NET;
- ASP.NET MVC;
- WCF and WF;
- SQL Server 2008 including Transact SQL (T-SQL);
- XML;
- Microsoft IIS;
- (D)HTML, AJAX, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery etc;
- Integration with LDAP/Active Directory;
- Knowledge of Domain Name System (DNS);
- Knowledge of Automated Testing;

TASKS:

- Client Server, Multi-Tier web solutions;
- Database applications;
- web Front End technologies;
- Integration development between disparate systems;
- Drafting technical specification documentation;
- Gathering requirements from users and communicate technical aspects to non-technical individuals;
- Contributing to the development of training material and user guides;

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:

- PHP experience (open source environment: Apache, PHP, Linux);
- JAVA/J2EE;
- SOAP;
- Certification: Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, ASP.NET Application Development;
- MCPD Asp.NET developer 3.5;
- SilverLight.
- Languages: High level of both spoken and written English. Minimum accepted level A1 of the CEF (Common European Framework) framework
