We have an immediate need for a Senior .NET Developer for an initial 3 month contract in Zurich.
SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION
The expert .NET developer, under minimal supervision, designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications and components; supports and/or installs software applications and components; and maintains documentation of process flow. The expert .NET developer is responsible for accomplishing the stated project objectives with effective & efficient .NET programming practices
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develops robust .NET solutions to meet customer requirements
- Coordinates with dependent teams in understanding the requirements and various integration points of the solutions
- Builds a strong relationship with the customer team and provides .NET consultancy on the challenges faced
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET
- Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications
- Enhance existing systems by analysing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
- Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
- Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
- Create technical specifications and test plans
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 7-10 years of .NET development experience mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year agile/scrum development experience
- Full software development life cycle experience
- SCM tools like GIT or SVN
- Project collaboration tools like JIRA and/or sharepoint
- Proven Business and IT experience ideally supported with relevant professional qualifications
