Net Developer

Our client is a large federal agency responsible with formulating social policy that affects that lives of all Australians.

They have a requirement for several .NET Developers to work on a large scale web applications project within a team of Developers, BAs and Testers.

The work will encompass the full software development life cycle from requirements gathering, to design, development and implementation of the applications.

This is an ideal contract to see you through the quieter Christmas/New Year's period in Canberra, with the successful candidates being offered a contract through to June .

ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Possess strong UI analysis skills and strong understanding of SDLC
- Demonstrated experience using C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, .NET framework 3.0/3.5/4.0/4.5, WCF/REST & XML based Web Services, Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2010/2012, Microsoft SQL Server, XML, XSLT, UML using Enterprise Architect
- Demonstrated experience in Web Applications design and programming (ASP.NET MVC, HTML, CSS, Javascript), and
- Demonstrate experience in SQL.
- Object Orientated Design and UML using Enterprise Architect or Similar Tools, and Microsoft Office.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

- Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with a range of internal stakeholders
- Experience working within a large application environment
- Able to work cohesively within a large team of diverse professionals
- Deadline orientated and able to effectively prioritise

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

- Australian citizenship
- Minimum BASELINE clearance required
