OUR CLIENT IS A LEADING, FINANCIAL SERVICE PROVIDER SEEKING A.NET DEVELOPER TO JOIN THE FRONT END DEVELOPMENT TEAM ON AN INITIAL 6 MONTH ENGAGEMENT.
JOB/OPPORTUNITY
This role is to join the Front End development team (.NET solution) and become a key part of building out this key part of the solution.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERTISE
- Ideally at least 6+ years' experience as a Software Developer
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or Mathematics
- Strong expertise with the .NET programming language - MCP Microsoft Certified Professional or higher
- Software development experience and associated development languages, platforms, platform utilities and tools to include:
- Languages: C# 3.0/4.0
- Application Servers and development tools: Visual Studio 2008/2010
- Frameworks: MSTest, WPF, WCF
- Tools: IBM Rational Clearcase, MSBuild, Hudson
- Operating Systems: Windows XP/7
- Must be able to work under minimum supervision and be a team player
- Proven customer-facing skills
- Full understanding of the software development process including exposure to integration and user-acceptance testing
- Full project life cycle experience
- Exposure to use cases and structured test plans are a definite plus.
- Experience of agile development cycle using Scrum, including backlog development, iteration planning, iteration tracking
