Net Developer

As the .NET Analyst Programmer or Software Engineer, be required to:- - Engage in software development tasks
- Web-based applications development
- All phases of the system development life cycle
- Analysis and verification of functional and non-functional solution requirements
- Development of detailed system design specifications and solution prototypes
- Delivery and implementation of applications solutions to meet business needs
- Develop and implement business system solutions to agreed time, cost and quality requirements
- Comply with appropriate policy and guidelines specified within frameworks
- Provide systems support for the resolution of incidents, problems, service requests and business improvement initiatives
- Research and evaluate new technologies, software solutions and opportunities for business improvement as required
- Utilise and promote best practise methodologies for applications management and development
- Provide technical advice to other staff
- Participate in skills transfer
- Mentor junior staff

- Development and support web-based applications using Microsoft development tools and platforms
- .Net, ASP.NET, MVC, C#, Ajax, JavaScript/jQuery, Entity Framework, LINQ, XML/XSLT, Team Foundation Server and SQL Server/T-SQL
- Highly developed applications design, development and implementation skills.
- Sound understanding of structured application life cycle management methodologies and applications development concepts (such as UML, data analysis and modelling, rapid application development, prototyping and agile approaches to solutions delivery, web services and Object Orientated Analysis, design and programming principles)
- Design, develop, document, and deliver business solutions within agreed time, cost and quality expectations
- Adhere to agreed standards and better practice frameworks for systems architecture, project management, and system development life cycle management
- Willingness and ability to effectively contribute to continuous improvement of application development, quality assurance, support and management frameworks for ICT service delivery
- Judgement, flexibility, agility, responsiveness and demonstrated high performance in resolving production support and maintenance issues individually and as an effective team member to achieve positive outcomes for business customers
- Highly effective communication, negotiation, persuasion, and representation skills.
- An ability to develop and maintain effective customer, business stakeholder and team relationships throughout the software development life cycle for small or large projects
- Produce documentation for business and technical audiences

NEGATIVE VETTING 1 level security clearance, at minimum Baseline will be considered.

AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP is a requirement of this role.
