NET Developer

Capita Customer Management is looking for 2 .net Developers to join their Development team to assist in the identification, development and maintenance of IT solutions to support business objectives as part of CCM's ongoing Transition and Migration project stream.

This project will see you working to create a management system to on-board TUPE staff following a recent acquisition. The applicant must be able to demonstrate that they are self-motivated and can work well with other members of the team as well as on their own.

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
* Document, code, test and implement IT solutions to support business needs to agreed quality standards
* Resolve incidents to ensure ongoing integrity of implemented projects
* Report issues and risks, and progress in a timely manner to the appropriate IT manager.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
*Proven IT experience in a commercial environment
*Knowledge of all areas of the development and project life cycle
*Experience of systems analysis, design and testing
*Experience in AGILE/SCRUM environment

INDEPTH working knowledge of .net and experience in:-
* NHibernate
* ASP.NET MVC 1 & 2

AS WELL AS TWO or more of the following technologies:-
* Visual Studio
* JavaScript
* CSS
* XHTML
* SQL

DESIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
* Web development
* Degree level or equivalent

SOME EXPERIENCE OF the following technologies desirable.
* Ajax
* Test Driven Development (TDD)
* Oracle
* Delphi
* Lotus Notes Domino
* Unix Scripting

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
* Experience and enthusiasm
* Communication skills - interfacing with team leader and test team
