Our client is urgently searching for 1 strong .NET C# Petrel Developer with Ocean API, Object Orientated Design experience to work on a critical project in Denmark as a contractor.
A successful consultant will have strong skills in:
Development
Good understanding of object-oriented design
.Net and C#
Used to handle APIs in general (Not necessary but OK if you have Experience with the Ocean API)
Strong collaboration skills, structured, well organised and service minded team player
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with end users and explain problems and solutions in a non-technical way.
Be willing to develop and share expertise.
The role
The .NET C# Petrel Developer team develops plugins to the Petrel E&P software platform from the client to support the customer. The project is at the beginning so this is a great opportunity for a developer to join the team and make an impression. This will be a long term contract. There are a number of developers on the team which will be increased as work load increases on the team.
Your tasks will be to develop software as Petrel plugins. This includes both project work and minor development tasks. You will also be expected to maintain developed plugins in production, and interact with users to understand their business needs.
