NET Application Architect

.NET APPLICATION ARCHITECT

A .NET Application Architect is urgently required for an ASAP start with a major client in Brussels, Belgium.

The .NET Application Architect will have the following skills and experience:

- Advanced skills with .NET C# & NET framework (from 2.0 to latest), ASP .NET forms & MVC, ASP.NET Web API, WCF, Entity Framework
- Federated security methods (oAuth, SAML, WIF, ADFS, e-ID usage)
- SOAP & XML technologies + REST, Json
- Framework built around .NET (enterprise library, mocking framework eg Moq, IOC container)
- Best practices, trends & evolutions of the IT industry and most particularly Microsoft technologies
- API Gateway technologies
- Design patterns (dependency injection, MVC, MVVM ) & OO
- Software, security & infrastructure architecture
- Identity and access management
- Dutch and French, one fluent, second one basic, second language has to be English (sound knowledge)

The .NET Application Architect will ideally have experience with:

- Responsive design, Real Time & interactive
- Performance (caching + web traffic optimization)
- Javascript, Jquery UI, Jquery templating, knockout.js, angular.js, Bootstrap
- SQL Server 2008/2014 (DB access management)
- Unit testing frameworks (MSTest, Nunit)
- VSTS or TFS (Source control, Work items, Build)

The .NET Application Architect will be responsible for the following:

- Collaborate in a virtual team of architects (.NET Development, Framework, infrastructure)
- Explain, coach & follow-up the .NET development and Framework engineering teams during these projects.
- Give support to the development team & help to solve all occurring problems during development.
- Report to lead architect, project leaders & managers on risks, issues, planning,

Quality Assurance/Global technology architecture/Technology Watch - Ensure the quality of new built and existing applications.
- Propose and document the required standards, guidelines, best practices to increase development productivity, security integration & quality.
- Propose tools or techniques to increase development productivity & quality.
- Analyse performance issues, search for root causes & solve these issues.
- Propose KPI's to track quality or performance on a recurrent basis.
- Participate with new technologies/products evaluations/proof of concepts
