Trainer required working for Capita, FTSE 100 and the UKs Leading Business Process Outsourcing organisation. This is an important role supporting the National Recruiting Centre (NRC) in the Army Recruiting Partnership. The NRC Trainers, under the direction of the NRC Lead Trainer, take the lead in the design, delivery and evaluation of the majority of NRC Training and some wider courses.
The purpose of this training will be to ensure that new recruits have the right level of knowledge, skills and competence to succeed in their roles. The content will be specific to the role being trained but will need to cover relevant policy, procedures, IT systems, customer service as well as providing a real insight into Army life and careers.
The trainers will provide a wide range of learning and development support to managers and staff across the service, ensuring that knowledge, skills and competence are continually updated and refreshed and individual's personal development objectives are met.
Whilst the role will primarily focus on those staff working within the NRC, the Trainers will work closely with Instructors from the Army School of Recruiting (ASR) to ensure consistency of message and effective use of resources. The ASR main focus is on the training of military recruiters working in Army Careers Centres, Outreach Teams and Reserve Units.
Responsibilities
* Design of effective training initiatives for a variety of roles within the RG Service
* Delivery of quality training at the NRC and occasionally at other RG sites across the UK
* Evaluation of training and the redesign of programmes as required
* Provision of learning and development advice and guidance to managers and staff across the Service
* Work with colleagues in the ASR sharing learning best practice and providing support as required
* Work with the Service to understand forthcoming development requirements and design appropriate solutions
* Support managers with their responsibilities for developing their staff
Requirements:
* Experienced process and systems trainer
* Training experience with in Contact or Administrative centre environments
* Designed training material from scratch
* Excellent presenter and deliver of soft skills/IT and process training
* IT literate & possess Keyboard skills
* CIPD, CTLLS or equivalent qualification
* An advocate for the Army and career opportunities it offers
