Our client is a high-visibility studio looking for a highly skilled and motivated Level Designer to help create and sustain their lineup of maps for competitive multiplayer experiences on products. As a Multiplayer Level Designer, you should be passionate about competitive multiplayer, especially of the shooter variety, and have the desire to design great playing maps.

This opportunity is focused on the development and sustainment of a future experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and communicate ideas for new multiplayer maps
- Design and block out gameplay spaces using Maya software
- Use proprietary tools to set maps up for playtest
- Participate in playtest sessions, collect feedback and drive iteration loops
- Maintain maps as they go into production

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

- High School diploma or GED Required
- College Degree preferred, ideally in a related area such as game design, architecture or art
- 2 years of industry or mod experience on multiplayer titles
- Evidence of a finished multiplayer maps, from paper design to final product, showcasing the design process
- Ideal candidate is a fan of multiplayer shooters, past and present
- Must have knowledge and passion for the game universe
- Experience creating PvP multiplayer maps, from ground up
- Experience play testing and iterating multiplayer maps
- Creative problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Great communication skills; comfortable working in a very communicative and passionate team environment
- Portfolio required
