MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM ENGINEER
for a 6 months contract (high chance to extend)
Your team:
You will work within our client's Network Services team, which is responsible for Voice, Multimedia and Networks implementation and operation. The wider Global Network Service Operations, ensures timely and high quality delivery of all Network services, solutions and products within the enterprise. The role will be located in Zurich, Switzerland.
Your tasks:
- Responsible for ensuring that Audio/Visual service are delivered according the project plan
- Performing implementation design and service support model
- Performing or supporting factory/integral testing and documentation of test plan/results
- Providing escalation support where required
- Working with vendors and maintaining knowledge of industry trends
- Manage the relationship with the suppliers
- Responsible for understanding, recording, monitoring and managing risk related to the delivery of the service
Your professional background:
- Expert level knowledge of AV products (eg Crestron, Polycom, IPTV, Appspace, RealPlayer)
- Expert level knowledge of AV technologies
- Good/expert level knowledge of enterprise unified communications collaboration solutions (eg Cisco, Skype for Business, Polycom)
- Good knowledge of working in Windows Server and Linux environments
- Good knowledge of data networking (routing, switching)
- Previous experience working in complex infrastructure projects
- Very strong technical, analytical, design and documentation skills
- Excellent written and spoken German and English
