MS SQL Data Architect

We are seeking a MS SQL Data Architect with a breadth and depth of experience in design, build and deliver an innovative integration solution and platforms focusing on data collection and data acquisition of various procurement data information and knowledge.

Working with the Solution Architects, Developers, Testers, Project Managers, Analysts and Subject Matter Experts, you will help to define the integration for systems within a CBE.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and implement efficient and flexible data integration framework build on a data replication publish and subscribe architecture
- Work in a team with architects from different backgrounds
- Design & Implement Stored procedures to automated the master data architecture
- Design & implement a database event driven trigger mechanism
- Contribute and drive the successful implementation, integration and utilization of new future-oriented Technology platforms
- Design & configure multiple MS SQL instances for the replication architecture
- Ensure that 3rd party and in-house developed solutions comply with the overall Data Architecture & Information Landscapes fulfilling all requirements
- Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts, onshore/offshore teams, employees and the business line
- Implement security considerations on the database
- Work in a global, multi-cultural and agile environment

REQUIREMENTS

- Good Datamodelling skills (conceptual, logical/physical model design) and basic knowledge in the design, implementation and management of Enterprise Data Warehouse solutions.
- Excellent knowledge of MS SQL both as architect and as DBA (Must have excellent skills in replication and stored procedures, specific in DML & DDL)
- Good knowledge in purchasing
- Good knowledge in operational design, security and life cycle management
- Excellent analytical skills combined with conceptual thinking and structured working style
- Ability to work in a transitioning environment
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, fluent verbal and written in English, German would be benefit
- Ideally, experience of working with P2P and Contract life cycle projects
- No banking experience is required
