MS SQL Architect
Our customer,market leader in their field requires an experienced MS SQL Architect for an immediate start in Zurich.
The successful candidate would have the following responsibilities:
Architecture, Design and Engineering:
*Engages in research in all topics pertinent to the MSSQL stack and also wider IT developments
*Ensures quality documentation is in place (architecture etc.)
*Acts as technical role model and mentor for MSSQL Operations
*Works together with MSSQL Engineer to ensure stability, availability and performance of MSSQL platform
The required skill set is as follows:
*Expert knowledge of the MS SQL technology stack from an end to end perspective
*Excellent knowledge of MS SQL concepts, architecture, engineering, implementation, usage and operations
*Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge of new technologies and IT trends
*Good understanding of alternative database platforms (Oracle, DB2 or similar)
*8+ years DBA experience in MS SQL
*Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows platform
