MS SCCM Services Administrator

A leading Queensland employer is looking for a System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) expert person to join their team. The successful candidate will act as an Administrator for enterprise SCCM services and associated products and technologies.

AS AN SCCM ADMINISTRATOR YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Act as Subject Matter Expert for enterprise SCCM services and associated products and technologies and drive knowledge to operations and 1st and 2nd level support.
- Perform assigned and any ad-hoc operations tasks and track completion
- Escalate any irregularities or errors to Team Lead
- Contribute to knowledge base for enterprise SCCM services and associated products and technologies.
- Plan, test and implement minor changes.
- Manage software updates.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE YOU MUST HAVE:

- Demonstrated ability to maintain knowledge of enterprise SCCM services and associated products and technologies
- Proven ability for providing expertise and support on use of methods and tools associated with enterprise SCCM services and associated products and technologies
- Ability to recognise and identify operational problems and contribute to their resolution including using system management software
- Demonstrated experience in receiving and handling requests for support following agreed procedures
- Demonstrated ability to recognise security issues with the network and to communicate issues to management as required
- Degrees in IT and/or Microsoft and ITIL Certification will be highliy regarded
- Availability to work after-hours and on-call may be needed
