MS Exchange Specialist for Multinational Institution in Rome/Italy

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A MS EXCHANGE SPECIALIST TO WORK AT OUR MULTINATIONAL CLIENT IN ROME/ITALY.

TASKS

- Migration from Exchange 2003/2007 to Exchange 2010/2013, including design, documentation, capacity planning, test plans, QA testing and implementation;
- Liaise with various technical teams in English to provide remote support and resolve issues related to system services;
- Write and maintain system operation procedures;
- Document and maintain new/existing service deployment procedures;
- Installation and troubleshooting of Exchange Servers in headquarters and decentralized offices;
- Design and implementation of monitoring using systems such as SCOM;
- Definition and documentation of procedures for disaster recovery, system monitoring and traffic analysis;
- Server consolidation including client to server network bandwidth planning;
- Integration of Exchange 2010/2013 with other systems such as Telex/FAX, Virus Scanning and encryption;
- Provide third level support to the Help-Desk and troubleshoot the problems experienced by users of the Email system.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in managing the latest and/or previous version of Microsoft Exchange in large-scale implementations, including design and implementation of major version migrations, architecture design, benchmarking, capacity planning and server sizing;
- Strong Active Directory knowledge including GPO management and Disaster Recovery;
- Solid working experience and knowledge of Windows operating systems;
- Experience in virtualization technologies: VMware or Hyper-V as administrator (creation of virtual instances, management of virtualization console);
- Experience with server Backup tools like NetBackup, Backupexec, Arcserve or others;
- Experience with server related protocols and infrastructure including DNS, Wins, LDAP, SMTP, TLS and S-MIME;
- Certifications from a recognized organization (MCSA, MCSE) in Microsoft Exchange (latest version and/or previous version);
- Excellent English language skills with the ability to express complex technical matters

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

- Knowledge of MTAs such as Postfix and Sendmail on Unix/Linux environment;
- Experience designing Microsoft Lync installations;
- Experience with SCOM;
- Experience with Scripting on Microsoft and/or Unix platforms.
