MS Access Analyst & Developer (Brussels)

Je functie: Context
Systems & Support is a transversal team within Finance/Cost Management in charge of developing applications (mainly Access based) to support financial processes.
We are currently looking for a senior MS Access developer to develop new applications and to maintain the existing tools developed in MS Access. All these applications are part of the financial closing and/or budgeting process and are used for critical financial reporting.
Next to a professional level of development skills, soft skills (communication, solution oriented, listening to requirements) are extremely important.

Function Description
Your tasks consist of:
1° Business Analysis: gather and formalize user requirements
2° Planning: estimate workload and define planning
3° Modelling: design process and data model
4° Build: develop & test new tool/Access DB
5° Documentation: "User Guide"
6° Change Management: Training and After care/Maintenance

Start Date ASAP
Duration Till year-end 2015 (with potential extension)

Je profiel: Required knowledge / Experience

Education
Master/University degree or equivalent by experience

Languages Requirement
French, Dutch & English : all Fluent

Experience
° At least 5 years of relevant experience in analysis and development
° Finance-Costs domains

Technical Experience
Mandatory
° Proven track in development of MS Access applications
° Soft skills: communication, solution oriented, listening to requirements
° Handling of complex databases in MS Access 2010
° Excel 2010
° VBA, SQL

Preferable
° Knowledge of SAP is a +

Business Experience
Mandatory
° Ability to deal with confidential information and be compliant to strict governance rules
° Knowledge of Banking sector
