MS .Net/SQL Consultant - Finance - Zurich

Our client in the financial industry seeks a MS .Net/SQL consultant, for a long term role in Zurich.

ROLE:

- Technical support for reinsurance pricing web application.
- Troubleshooting production issues related to pricing application.
- Work closely with Network/Server-App teams to resolve the production issues and be able to guide these teams in getting the issues resolved.
- Work on bug fixes for the Pricing Application.
- Work on enhancements for the pricing application that would be using WPF in next phase of development.
- Assisting in application deployments.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Strong experience in C# (3.5/4.0) with excellent understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
- Good experience in Developing Rich UI using Window Presentation Foundation.
- Experience in Designing and Developing distributed application using Window Communication Foundation.
- Experience developing SQL Store procedure, Functions, Triggers using SQL Server 2008.
- Good understanding of .NET application (Web/WPF) deployment in highly virtualized environments.
- Experience with Prism framework is preferred.
