MQ Administrator Middleware Websphere Perl Shell

MY CLIENT IS A MAJOR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION BASED IN AMSTERDAM. THEY ARE LOOKING FOR AN MQ ADMINISTRATOR AND SOMEONE WHO HAS A WEALTH OF MQ, MIDDLEWARE AND WEBSPHERE EXPERIENCE. AS THE MQ SPECIALIST YOU WILL PROVIDE PROJECT SUPPORT FOR IBM MQ SERVICES.

THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

You will be the go-to person for essential IBM MQ project support across a multi-platform infrastructure for a large global enterprise. Must have 5+ years of experience within a multi-platform (UNIX, Linux and Windows) atmosphere including engineering and supporting large IBM MQ Series environments. A strong track record in writing, installing and supporting scripts for message & file handling using WebSphere MQ as the communications layer is essential.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

- Provide project support for IBM MQ services to the internal customers
- MQ Client configuration and setup.
- Providing support to Developers with configuration and setup of the MQ Server & MQ Client connections in the Applications. (Mainly .NET based)

THE FOLLOWING TECHNICAL SKILLS ARE HIGHLY DESIRABLE:

- IBM Development/Scripting skills using Unix Shell and Perl Scripting, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, C/C++ and .Net
- Knowledge of RedHat JBoss Middleware (JBoss WebServer/Tomcat and EAP)
- Knowledge of IBM WebSphere AS
- Support message and file transfers on Unix, Windows and Linux platforms using multiple protocols
- Experience with Agile/Scrum
