MP&P Engineer Job

MP&P ENGINEER is needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in CHARLESTON, SC.

- Fabrication
- Troubleshooting

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Designing, develop and qualify innovative composite materials, processes, tooling and technologies, and provide solutions to a variety of technical research problems.
- Must have excellent technical skills & knowledge and be able to execute complex technology development projects with focus on innovation, intellectual property development and technical problem solving.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Mechanical/Materials/Manufacturing or Chemical engineering background with emphasis on composite materials/processes/manufacturing and advanced composite manufacturing technology.
- Responsibilities will have an emphasis on the design, development, demonstration and transition of innovative composite materials, processes, tooling and technologies to support production.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Extensive work experience with composite manufacturing processes for fiberglass and carbon composites, resin infusion, prepreg manufacturing, hand layup, autoclave cure, automated fiber placement, robot programming.
- 3D CAD modelling (CATIA preferred) is highly desired.
