Motion Control Engineer (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Design and develop controllers and control systems for the x-by-wire system inside our AD vehicles
- Implementation of a motion controller on a real-time capable ECU
- Test and optimize the motion controller on our vehicles in simulation, our workshop and in the field
-Design and develop a trajectory-following interface for communication to our AD stack

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Profound knowledge of control theory and control systems
- Experience with control systems development
- Proficiency in simulation and analysis tools e.g. MATLAB or Simulink
- Knowledge about real-time systems and constraints
- Knowledge about state-of-the-art motion planning algorithms
- Knowledge about automotive bus protocols, such as CAN
- Knowledge of working with prototyping equipment, such as MicroAutoBox
- Knowledge in robotics, navigation and planning algorithms
