Mortgage Portfolio Manager

BASED IN MANCHESTER A MORTGAGES PORTFOLIO MANAGER is require to work on a CONTRACT basis to manage and enhance a closed sub prime mortgage portfolio, focussing on delivering portfolio deleverage and enhancing portfolio performance through enhanced customer segmentation, customer strategies and portfolio analytics and MI for a well known retail bank.

*RATES BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Candidates must have strong and recent Mortgage portfolio experience within the financial services or banking sector. PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE IS KEY TO THIS ROLE!

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE:

* Strong commercial leadership, financial acumen, analytical approach and results delivery

* Knowledge of relevant areas of finance, treasury, risk, operations and securitisation structures

* Knowledge of securitisation vehicles

* Knowledge/Understanding of legal contracts relating to third parties.

* Knowledge and experience of operational management

* Highly numerate and articulate, with a "can do" attitude, flexible approach, and acceptance of ambiguity

* Extensive stakeholder management experience in a financial services organisation.
