MORTGAGE BROKERAGE INVESTIGATION ANALYST

We are looking to recruit a Mortgage Brokerage Investigation Analyst to join a well recognised financial services brand. The Mortgage Brokerage Investigation Analyst will investigate a number of the client's 3rd party intermediaries and brokers to ensure that the level of service is up to the organisation's standards and compliant with industry regulations, such as Mortgage Market Review (MMR). 

The Successful Mortgage Brokerage Investigation Analyst will have a very strong understanding of Intermediaries within a mortgage environment - either as they were in the past an intermediary or broker themselves, or perhaps because they have worked very closely with intermediaries in the past. Moreover, a very strong understanding of contemporary regulatory areas such as MMR is essential for the Mortgage Brokerage Investigation Analyst in order to successfully complete the post.

Moreover, the Mortgage Brokerage Investigation Analyst will also look for potential fraud cases and will work very closely with fraud teams.

- Experience in Mortgages essential.
- Liaise with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the quality of mortgage business submission provided by Brokers assigned to the intermediary panel is of acceptable standard.
- Request mortgage application details and carry out proactive File Reviews assessment as part of the investigation process. Escalate for further investigation as appropriate.
- Undertake business analysis including production of MI and internal reports reflecting work of Broker Monitoring Team.
- Identify Risk issues, escalating as appropriate to Mortgage Fraud Management
- Perform administration as part of panel removal/warning process following broker investigation.
- Administer information requests from FCA.
- Have a good knowledge of the intermediary mortgage market
- Hold broad understanding of changes and emerging issues relevant to Mortgage Risk and the work of Broker Monitoring ie: Mortgage Regulation and MMR
