MONITORING SPECIALIST

Currently we are looking for a Monitoring Specialist, Conceptual and Developer to join our client's team in Zurich, Switzerland.
Key Accountabilities:
Support a high performing and collaborative set of customer groups and be a key contributor to the monitoring improvement project
Because the team is small, the ability to communicate technical ideas effectively, in oral and written forms, and solve complex problems in a team environment will also be considered.
Co-ordination for specific monitoring related topics
Incident management and 3rd party application maintenance and support
Support to business areas in their technical testing in test and integration environments
Preparation of training documentation and execution of user trainings
Skills:
Demonstrated ability to configure and manage multi-OS environments (RedHat, Solaris, MS Server 2008/2012 R2)
Superior knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, Check_MK)
Thorough understanding of conceptual implementation of monitoring solutions
Competent in Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft SQL
Experience in working in an international team with native and non-native English speakers
Fluent in spoken and written German and English
Technical know-how in operating systems, databases and applications (preferred)
Required Experience:
Business analysis
University degree or equivalent in computer science or engineering
Programming experience
